Similar to the CD3 biomarker, as shown in Figure 4, CD4 expression was detectable in the adjacent normal lung tissues (Figure 4(d)) and slightly higher in stage I lung adenocarcinomas (Figure 4(a)), but expression of CD4 was significantly reduced in stage II (Figure 4(b)) and III (Figure 4(c)) adenocarcinomas. The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is lung adenocarcinoma.
