TAMs in glioma are commonly identified by the expression of CD11b, CD14, CD68, CD163, and CD206. Additionally, we demonstrated that CD44 expression has high concordance with CD11b, CD14, CD68, CD163, and CD206, which indicates a synergistic relationship between CD44 and macrophage markers in glioma (Supplementary Figure 9). The gene discussed is CD163; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
