Compared with subjects who had a normal cfPWV, subjects with an increased cfPWV were significantly older (P=0.036), had a higher body weight (P=0.027), BMI (P=0.048), systolic blood pressure (P=0.044), pulse pressure (P=0.001), CRP (P=0.040), FGF-21 (P < 0.001) (Figure 1), and a higher rate of DM (P < 0.001) and hypertension (P=0.026). Here, CRP is linked to hypertensive disorder.
