KEGG pathways that were significantly enriched in RA patients included amino acid metabolism (e.g., alanine, aspartate, and glutamate), amino sugar and nucleotide sugar metabolism, β-alanine metabolism, ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters, glycolysis/gluconeogenesis, NOD-like receptor signaling pathway, and p53 signaling pathway (Figure 7C).
