NCAPG and hepatocellular carcinoma: Oncogenic NCAPG is positively associated with S phase cell cycle arrest, proliferation and migration in several tumor types, including gastric cancer [9], breast cancer [10], hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) [11], and etc. Meanwhile, the clinical importance of NCAPG’s biology is that its overexpression was associated with poor prognosis in HCC [12] and renal cell carcinoma [13].
