The discovery of actionable oncogenic drivers includes epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) [1], anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) [2], mesenchymal-epithelial transition factor (MET) [3], Kirsten rat sarcoma 2 viral oncogene homolog (KRAS) [4], serine/threonine-protein kinase b-raf (BRAF) [5], and ROS1 proto-oncogene receptor tyrosine kinase (ROS1) [6], which have revolutionized the molecular targeted therapy of NSCLC. Here, EGFR is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
