Additionally, by analyzing the correlation between NFKBIA mRNA levels and the infiltration of 22 inflammatory cells in breast cancer tissues based on the TCGA dataset (Fig. 5C, D & Supplementary Fig. 5E-F), we showed that NFKBIA mRNA levels were positively correlated with infiltration levels of M1, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells and naïve B cells (Fig. 5C & Supplementary Fig. 5E), whereas negatively correlated with infiltration levels of M2 cells, resting mast cells and eosinphils in breast cancer tissues based on the TCGA dataset (Fig. 5D). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and breast carcinoma.
