CDKN2A and intervertebral disk degenerative disorder: Here, we aim to explore (i) whether PA metabolism participates in the progress of IDD, (ii) whether PA supplementation or PAOX inhibition prevents the oxidative stress and stabilizes the ECM secretory phenotype in NP cells, and (iii) whether NAC supplementation or Cdkn2a gene (encode p16INK4a protein) deletion suppresses oxidative stress and delays IDD via regulating PA metabolism.
