TP53 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma: Our results also showed that baicalein and wogonin inhibited the expressions of PI3K, AKT, and p53, which are the key proteins in the PI3K/AKT and p53 signaling pathway in CNE2 cells, suggesting that the main active ingredients of S. barbata can play an anti-NPC effect through the PI3K/AKT and p53 signaling pathway.
