Differentially expressed genes shared across all three translocations demonstrated that the two MLL translocations shared far more differentially expressed genes (149 and 176; upregulated and downregulated, respectively) than with the Cbfb::MYH11 translocation (86 and 46; upregulated, 62 and 32; downregulated), suggesting more similarity between these AML subtypes. This evidence concerns the gene MYH11 and acute myeloid leukemia.
