LEP and type 2 diabetes mellitus: When women who self‐reported taking antihyperglycemic medication for type 2 diabetes were excluded from the analyses (n = 43), increasing levels of leptin were associated with worse disease‐free survival (HRper 5 μg/ml = 1.04, 95% CI = 1.00–1.07) and overall survival (HRper 5 μg/ml = 1.05, 95% CI = 1.01–1.09).
