Analysis of NOR discrimination index showed that 1 week after microinfarct induction, MO-operated male WT mice and APP/PS1 mice exhibited an impaired recognition memory in comparison to sham-operated mice (Figure 3C), an effect that was maintained for 1 month in sham-operated APP/PS1 mice in which AD-like pathology normally progressed, and MO-operated WT mice and APP/PS1 mice (Figure 3D).
