Women with PCOS had a significantly higher levels of LH (7.27 ± 4.96 vs 3.73 ± 1.64, P=0.000, Figure 1A) and testosterone (1.94 ± 0.66 vs 1.54 ± 0.45, P=0.000, Figure 1E) than women without PCOS. This evidence concerns the gene PLOD1 and polycystic ovary syndrome.
