According to the stringent criteria in Fig. S5A, we found that genes related to virus infection responses (herpes simplex virus 1 infection), cancer-related signaling (PI3K-Akt/Ras signaling pathway), and cytoskeleton (regulation of actin cytoskeleton), as well as genes associated with cell cycle and cellular adhesion molecules, were reversed by RNAi treatment in the transcriptomic data set (Fig. 6D). Here, AKT1 is linked to viral infectious disease.
