Neither USP13 nor USP10 has yet been shown either in vitro or in vivo to deubiquitinate SKP2 in BC specifically; so far, USP10 has only been shown to deubiquitinate SKP2 in chronic myelogenous leukemia and neointima formation in vascular smooth-muscle tissue27,28, and evidence supporting the role of USP13 as a deubiquitinase of SKP2 has only been obtained from in vitro biochemical assays and in HeLa cells26. Here, USP13 is linked to breast cancer.
