CEBPA and acute myeloid leukemia: CEBPA participates in the differentiation of commonmyeloid progenitors into basophils,32 andits mutation is associated with AML.58 Additionally, MYB plays a key role in the hematopoietic system and hasbeen recognized as an attractive therapeutic target for the treatmentof leukemia.59 Both TFs (CEBPA and MYB) are mainly expressed in subtypes M2 andM5 of the AML cell lines which are characterized by high expressionof (neo)lacto-series and Lewis A/X antigens (Supplementary Information, Figure S-8).
