Clinically, patients with DOX-induced cardiotoxicity who develop heart failure are often treated with standard heart failure medications, including angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors (ACEI)/angiotensin receptor blockers (ARB), β-blockers, combined angiotensin receptor/neprilysin inhibitors (ARNI), mineralcorticoid receptor antagonists (MRA), and sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors. Here, MME is linked to heart failure.
