We investigated the tissue-specific impact of CerS4 deficiency in the AOM/DSS CAC model, using complete CerS4 knockout mice (CerS4 KO) but also tissue-specific knockouts in which the CerS4 deficiency was restricted either to the intestinal epithelium (Vil/Cre) or to the T-cells (LCK/Cre). This evidence concerns the gene VIL1 and infectious otitis media.
