Several cancer driver mutations in the development of HCC are already distinguished in genes, e.g., telomerase reverse transcriptase (TERT) [11], AT-rich interaction domain 1A and 2 (ARID1A and ARID2) [12], catenin beta 1 (CTNNB1) [13,14], or tumor protein p53 (TP53) [15,16]. This evidence concerns the gene CTNNB1 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
