After 3 days of colitis induction, increased expression (more than 2-fold change) of 11 genes encoding chemokines (Ccl2, Ccl3, Ccl4, Ccl7, Ccl12, Ccl17, Ccl19, Cxcl1, Cxcl2, Cxcl6, and Cxcl9) and 9 genes encoding chemokine receptors (Ccr1, Ccr2, Ccr3, Ccr4, Ccr5, Ccr8, Cxcr2, Cxcr3, and Cxcr5) was observed in rats. This evidence concerns the gene CCR8 and colitis.
