Analysis of each factor separately showed that the gene expression of these proteins increased in rats with induced colitis (p < 0.001, Figure S9), while the consumption of feed with high-molar-mass oat beta-glucan resulted in a significantly lower gene expression of Osm and Csf3 compared to the rats consuming βG− feed (ANOVA, p < 0.01, Tukey post hoc, p < 0.05, Figure S10). The gene discussed is OSM; the disease is colitis.
