In our study, we found that in Balb/c mice with AD-like skin lesions induced by DNCB, melatonin treatment improved the gross dermatitis severity, reduced lymphocyte infiltrations in the skin, and the levels of AD-related cytokines and chemokines such as IP-10, CCL-27, IL-4, and IL-17 were significantly decreased in the superficial skin-draining lymph nodes after melatonin treatment. Here, CXCL10 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
