Importantly, these findings appear to be well supported by another study, which revealed that CD133 expression levels are considerably decreased in normal pancreatic tissue (only 0.01% of cancer cells), compared to PDAC, where the population of this CSC was 0.5–1% of CD133+ cells in less aggressive cell lines to more than 9% of CD133+ cells in clones with high migration [121,122,123].
