Cultured colon and breast cancer cells were exposed to the same concentration of free Nisin Z (250 μg/mL) and CDNSs suspension containing the same amount of entrapped Nisin Z based on the results of the cytotoxicity assays and LDH release, the FITC AnnexinV flow cytometry assay was used for analysis.
