Some reports suggested that the AURKB gene is involved in the mechanisms of susceptibility to paclitaxel for NSCLC, susceptibility to cetuximab for head and neck SCC, and susceptibility to vemurafenib for melanoma, and that FOXM1 is involved in susceptibility to paclitaxel or herceptin for breast cancer [33,34,35,36]. The gene discussed is AURKB; the disease is breast carcinoma.
