MLH1 and cancer: There are several more DNAm sites that were demonstrated to be correlated with chemotherapy efficacy in a variety of cancers e.g., CHFR and MLH1 in gastric cancer [203], FANCF in ovarian cancer [204], SFN [205], and IGFBP3 [206] in lung cancer, as well as MT1E in melanoma [207], demonstrating the potential applicability of epigenetic markers not only to predict the therapy outcome but also to choose an adequate therapy approach.
