CRP and colorectal carcinoma: The pathological values of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (Kruskal–Wallis test, p = 0.0025), lactate dehydrogenase (p = 0.0004), carcinoembryonic antigen (p < 0.0001), and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (p = 0.0080) were found in the study subjects with metastasis, compared to those CRC patients without metastasis (Table 2).
