Figure 3 shows an example of chromoplexy-like rearrangements in a CML patient at diagnosis [11]. Whole exome sequencing, copy number variation analysis and RNA-seq identified multiple deletions on chromosomes 9 and 22 in the region of the BCR and ABL1 genes, and multiple novel gene fusions in addition to the BCR::ABL1 fusion. This evidence concerns the gene BCR and chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
