Although various tumorigenesis factors such as interleukin‐6 (IL‐6), c‐met, or hepatocyte growth factor (HGF)/Hypoxia‐inducible factor‐1α (HIF‐1α)/VEGFα‐dependent pathways have been shown to be associated with the promoted tumor growth of subtotal thermal ablation, ours is the first to more thoroughly examine the differences of residual tumors before or after iMWA in RNA signatures and in‐depth immunophenotyping. The gene discussed is HIF1A; the disease is neoplasm.
