Li et al. showed that PCAT-1 could downregulate PTEN expression by targeting EZH2 in CDDP-resistant GC cells, indicating that PCAT-1 might contribute to the resistance of GC cells to CDDP by activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway via downregulating PTEN expression (41). This evidence concerns the gene PCAT1 and gastric cancer.
