Tyrosine kinase inhibitors TKIs, due to their multitarget inhibitory effects on the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways, have been extensively used as clinical first-line drugs for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), renal cell carcinoma 3, etc. Sorafenib (sor), a key and representative TKI, has improved the prognosis of cancer patients and has been especially recommended for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma 4, 5. Here, VEGFA is linked to renal cell carcinoma.
