Consistent with generalized inflammation and hypotension, the following parameters were elevated in the majority of patients with CRS: white blood cell count, neutrophil count, NLR, PLR, ferritin (4/25 measured), interleukin (IL)-6 (8/25 measured), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), urea, creatinine and lactate (11/25 measured). Here, IL6 is linked to congenital rubella syndrome.
