By 8 days PI, parasitemia in Mcpt4-/- was correlated with larger fold changes in plasma type-2 cytokines (IL-3, IL-13 and IL-10) and chemokines (MIP-1α/CCL3 and MIP-1β/CCL4), while blood 16S copies were correlated directly and positively with plasma eotaxin/CCL11, IL-9, MCP-1/CCL2 and RANTES/CCL5 and ileal KC/CXCL1. The gene discussed is CALCA; the disease is parasitic infectious disease.
