In 2017, Liu et al. (2017b) reported that Camellia sinensis (L.)Kuntze polyphenols induced chromatin condensation, MMP reduction, ROS increase, and caspase-3/9 activation in BC cells, which indicated that C. sinensis (L.)Kuntze polyphenols induced mitochondrial pathway–mediated apoptosis.
