In irradiated animals with 0.2 Gy ionizing radiation, after inhaling coal dust for a long time, cellular CD3+ T lymphopenia was observed due to the activation of CD4+ lymphocytes by 30.4% (p < 0.0001) and CD8 lymphocyte subpopulations by 26.3% (P < 0.001), and as a consequence, the repression of the leukocyte migration inhibition by 24.71% (P < 0.001) occurs, which leads to a deterioration in the functioning of immune cells. Here, CD8A is linked to lymphopenia.
