Nonsynonymous coding mutations may generate immunogenic peptides, neoantigens, that are presented to CD8+ T cells on restricted Human leukocyte antigen class I (HLA-I) subtype in selected tumor types such as melanoma (1), lung cancer (2), colorectal tumors (3) and Isocitrate Dehydrogenase (IDH) wild-type glioblastoma (GBM) (4). This evidence concerns the gene IDH3A and glioblastoma.
