CD34 and leukemia: Since whole leukemia cells were capable to infiltrate bone marrow and lymph nodes in nude mice (Supplementary Fig. 3); we subcutaneously injected purified High-risk patient-derived sGRP78+ leukemia cells (Fig. 5A) and, 3 weeks upon transplantation we detected living CD45+ human cells from bone marrow and lymph nodes expressing sGRP78, CXCR4 and CD34 (Fig. 5B–D).
