A previously reported study clarifies that Foxo3 is augmented in PCOS and represses the progression of ovarian granulosa cells [22], which is consistent with the results in the study, that is, augmented miR-29 c-3p or silenced Foxo3 promoted granulosa cell proliferation but inhibited cell apoptosis. This evidence concerns the gene FOXO3 and polycystic ovary syndrome.
