CENPF and renal carcinoma: CENPF has been reported to be upregulated in various types of malignant tumors and serve as a prognostic indicator for multiple cancers, such as prostate cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, and renal cancer; the high expression of CENPF is associated with worse prognosis and metastasis in these cancers (Sun et al., 2019; Chen H. et al., 2021).
