Table 2 shows the glucose and lipid metabolic characteristics in participants. Low-density lipoprotein (LDL), triglyceride (TG), low-density lipoprotein/high-density lipoprotein (LDL/HDL), apolipoprotein B (ApoB), apolipoprotein B/apolipoprotein AI (ApoB/ApoAI), total cholesterol (TC), and TC/HDL levels were elevated in the PCOS group (p < 0.05). On the other hand, fasting blood glucose (FBG), fasting insulin (FINS), and HOMA-IR had no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P > 0.05).
