SPAG5 and Miyoshi myopathy: The GEPIA (Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis) database (http://gepia.cancer-pku.cn/) showed a higher expression level of SPAG5 in MM tissues compared with normal tissues (Figure 1(a)), which was then verified by qRT-PCR (2-fold change; Figure 1(b)), Western blotting (2.5-fold change; Figure 1(c)) and IHC staining (3-fold change; Figure 1(d)) in MM clinical tissues.
