It is important to note that a significant association between the downregulation of TUSC3 expression and the clinicopathological characteristics of patients with CSCC was observed, including FIGO stage (p < 0.001), types of tumour growth (p = 0.002), differentiation grade (p < 0.001), stromal invasion (p = 0.024), pelvic lymph node metastasis (p = 0.004) and recurrence (p = 0.03), all of which were important factors in predicting the progression and prognosis of CSCC.
