CEACAM5 and mucinous neoplasm: A multivariate Cox regression analysis identified the following independent risk factors for poor 5-year OS: APN metastasis (hazard ratio[HR] = 3.3; 95% confidence interval[CI] = 1.4–7.4, p = 0.0052) and histologically poor or mucinous tumor (HR = 3.0, 95% CI = 1.5–5.7, p = 0.0013), and those for short RFS were APN metastasis (HR = 2.9, 95% CI = 1.6–5.4, p = 0.0008) and serum CEA (HR = 1.7, 95% CI = 1.0–2.6, p = 0.035) after adjustment for confounding variables.
