AngII-induced wall remodeling (independent of hematoma) increased circumferential stretch and stiffness, yet thickening was insufficient to normalize wall stresses increased by the AngII-induced hypertension at 7 days (Figure 3F and Supplemental Table 1), consistent with previous analyses over 4 to 7 days of AngII infusion (16).
