The study of Chou et al. found that patients with oral cancer and the IGF2BP2 rs11705701 GA+AA, rs4402960 GT+TT, and rs1470579 AC+CC genotypes had higher risk in terms of clinical stage, tumor size, and lymph node metastasis compared with those with the IGF2BP2 rs11705701 GG, rs4402960 GG, and rs1470579 AA genotypes. This evidence concerns the gene IGF2BP2 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
