In this study, the expression level of AMBRA1 gene was significantly higher in the relapsed cases as compared to both diagnosis and CR cases (2.1 and 2.8‐folds, respectively; p = 0.01 and 0.03, respectively) (Figures 3 and 4); this might be due to the possible role of AMBRA1 gene in the chemo‐resistance of relapsed/refractory AML patients. The gene discussed is AMBRA1; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
