Taking the presence of a neurological mechanism in psychological factors and sleep stability for both bruxism etiology and 25(OH)D concentrations, due to the spread of vitamin D receptors (VDR) in multiple areas of the central nervous system, may lead to obtaining an investigation about the possible role of serum 25‐hydroxyvitamin D levels in reducing or exacerbating bruxism levels. This evidence concerns the gene VDR and bruxism.
