eIF5A is highly overexpressed in patients with glioblastoma (Preukschas et al., 2012). eIF5A1 is a diagnostic marker of vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia (Cracchiolo et al., 2004). eIF5A1 is upregulated in colorectal adenoma (Lam et al., 2010). This evidence concerns the gene EIF5A and glioblastoma.
