To understand whether donor-derived neutrophils are recruited to sites of inflammation via adhesion mechanisms that have been well described for host-derived primary murine neutrophils, we again used a model of thioglycollate-induced peritonitis in mice that received a 1:1 mix of wild-type and β2 integrin-deficient (Itgb2−/−) HoxB8-conditional progenitors. This evidence concerns the gene HOXB8 and peritonitis.
