Categorisation of the transcriptomic cohorts based on the LVI status showed that high UBE2C mRNA expression was strongly associated with poor patient outcome in the LVI-positive BC in both the METABRIC cohort (p < 0.001, HR = 2.10, 95% CI; 1.70–2.53; Fig. 1D) and the TCGA cohort (p = 0.001, HR = 2.10, 95% CI; 1.40–3.17; Fig. 1E). Here, UBE2C is linked to breast cancer.
