This research together with the finding of the association of RRAS2 expression levels, and the SNP rs8570, with poorer prognosis in CLL could place RRAS2 both as a prognosis marker in different human cancers and as a molecular target for direct inhibitors, similarly to cancers with mutations in KRAS (reviewed in [53]). This evidence concerns the gene RRAS2 and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
