IGHE and Increased total eosinophil count: This disorder is characterized by recurrent eczema, skin and sinopulmonary infections, elevated serum immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels, and eosinophilia, and was previously known as Job syndrome.[1] Further research has revealed dominant negative mutations in the signal transducer and activation of transcription 3 (STAT3) gene as the etiology of autosomal dominance, leading to this disorder being classified as autosomal dominant HIES (AD-HIES).
